Using the bench grinder mount, I'm able to use most of Tormek's jigs on my grinder. Comes in handy when fixing major damage to an edge or for resetting the primary bevel. I can then move from the grinder to the Tormek without have to reset anything.
I have many GB and hultafors axes and this was a huge surprise. Not only was the fit and finish pristine but the grind was spot and on as well. I bought this axe specifically for splitting seasoned firewood and it blows through its not even there, I took it in the bush as well to see how it did on greenwood trees and it bit through nicely. Maybe not as good as a thinner profiled axe like the forest axe but the difference was nearly unnoticeable. The stock sheath isn’t great but there are many aftermarket options out there. Great axe, enough said.
Quickly shipped ,items well packaged ,those small wedge are easy to carry , i use a large carabiner to fit two of them .I mostly use them while cutting wood wild camping and overlanding ,they take little space and do the job .
